The Northern Ireland Polymer Association [NIPA] - The Trade association for the Polymer sector in Northern Ireland, is embarking on an industry led collaborative network programme of work over a 2 year period. We are seeking an experienced manager to coordinate the activities and interventions required to enhance the development and competitiveness of the Polymer sector in key areas identified in our Strategic Business Plan.
Reporting to the Board of NIPA this is a challenging new role with a strong emphasis on coordinating collaborative partnerships to enhance the competitiveness of the sector. The Network Manager will play a key role through engagement with industrial and academic partners in implementing the objectives of the polymer sector business plan.
The ideal candidate will be results focused, with significant experience in project management and be educated to degree level. Preference will be given to candidates who have a working knowledge of the Polymer Sector, an understanding of global trends impacting on the industry and experience of collaborative networking to drive commercial success.
The ability to engage and communicate with the business sector and to manage budgets and other resources as necessary is essential.
The successful candidate will also be able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills and have strong analytical, decision making and organisational skills.
This position is initially for two years and will be subject to annual review. It is an exciting opportunity for a person with enthusiasm, drive and commitment.
