The All-Island Carbon Measurement Study
The All-Island Carbon Measurement study is seeking to assess current carbon footprinting activities amongst businesses in Ireland and Northern Ireland, and the implications of current trends for future competitiveness.
Some of the specific issues that the study will address include the following:
- Current carbon measurement activities and awareness amongst businesses
- The risks and opportunities associated with carbon measurement
- Barriers and challenges to carbon measurement
- Potential approaches for addressing the risks and challenges
Why should you participate in the survey?
By completing the questionnaire, you will provide invaluable insight that will enable InterTradeIreland, Invest NI and Enterprise Ireland to assess the business risks associated with carbon measurement. These will then be used to develop an action plan for addressing the gaps and challenges on an all-island basis.
The study will be completed in the first quarter of 2010, and the outputs will be disseminated widely. Please check the project website for regular updates.
